Long time looker, first time buyer. For the love of Belle PLEASE add an additional strip of fabric hair for a matching hair tie! I was happy with the fabric, color, quality, and -- of course -- the pockets. I am assuming I could have sized down in the underdress. I do wish that it was ever so slightly narrower in the shoulders, but I was able to wear it all day without it annoying me, so I don't have any complaints there.
First time I tried on the dress, the fabric tore in 3 places. I made the mistake of removing the tags but this is a quality control issue. There was not enough seam allowance on the front and back panels sewn and secured under the bias. Basically in the areas it roe, the fabric was sewn right on the edge of where the pattern piece was cut. I own a lot of Holy Clothing pieces and this was surprising and disappointing as their garments are usually quality pieces. I checked on some of the other color-palette listings for the Belle Overdress and see that others have had this issue too. So be aware. Also the sizing felt smaller than usual and the zipper under the armpit was very difficult and awkward to zip up. Will be a challenge to those with mobility issues.
